Terms and conditions

Skylink Voyages Inc. purchases and sells airline tickets and issues on behalf of its suppliers the corresponding tickets or vouchers for the requests formulated by the travel agent for its clients, the whole subject to the availability and the conditions imposed by its suppliers.

Immediately upon receipt of the corresponding tickets or vouchers, you are obligated to verify the accuracy of the reservations and to notify us of any errors on the same day, failing which we will be relieved of all responsibility, the travel agent will be presumed to have requested the tickets or vouchers as issued and will assume sole responsibility to the exclusion of Skylink Travel Inc. for any liability to the traveler or damages including any fare increases and/or change fees.  Except in the case of errors emanating directly from us or one of our agents, Skylink Travel Inc. disclaims any liability arising from the pricing and/or use of transportation tickets or vouchers for any act, default, omission or non-performance of the supplier and/or lack of necessary travel documents. The travel agent formally undertakes to inform the customer of all conditions and restrictions applicable to the ticket or voucher, including limitations of liability, the obligation to reconfirm a flight and the need to be in good standing with foreign authorities.

Upon receipt of this invoice
The travel agency is personally responsible for paying Skylink Voyages Inc. the amounts due on this invoice and the travel agency assumes responsibility for collecting, at its own expense, payment for any services required by its customers in connection with the services booked. Irregularity of payment by the customer is not enforceable against Skylink Travel Inc. for any reason (e.g., NSF check, forged signature, unauthorized credit card, etc.). We strongly recommend that the travel agency ensure the validity of any payment. Any unpaid amount upon receipt will bear interest at the rate of 2% per month or 24% annually. Please note that our issuing fees are 100% non-refundable in the event of a refund of the airline ticket.

Errrors in fare computation
The travel agent is responsible for pricing. Except in the case of manifest fault and/or error on the part of Skylink Voyages Inc., the Travel Agent agrees to immediately reimburse, upon demand, any amounts that Skylink Voyages Inc. may be required to pay to a service provider in connection with the imposition of an adjustment or debit note arising from a pricing error and/or a refund of a transportation title or other tourism services in respect of any transportation title or service required by the Travel Agent, its clients and travellers.

Payment by credit card
Credit card companies impose specific conditions on the validity of a credit card payment. Among other things, the issuing companies require that the credit card slip be signed by the cardholder, that it be validated, and that the signature be verified by the person accepting the credit card payment; otherwise, the issuing company may refuse to honor the payment. The above conditions are subject to change and may vary from one issuing company to another. Therefore, the travel agent must verify the credit card payment conditions with the credit card company at all times.

In the event of a refusal of payment by the issuing company, the cardholder or any other person for any reason, the travel agent will be personally responsible for paying the credit card charges and reimbursing Skylink Travel Inc. within seven (7) days.

Cancelations
If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify your travel agent immediately. Cancellation charges will apply according to fees given at the moment of original booking by airline or other supplier involved in the transaction.

Applicable laws
The use of this website are ruled by the law of the Quebec province and Canadian law, without giving effect to any conflicts of laws principles.  You hereby irrevocably submit and attorn to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of Montreal district, province of Quebec, in respect of any such dispute or matter.
